![]() ![]() I don’t like medieval capitalism because it requires far more communication and standardization than I like for my warring factions and something about everyone using a carpet makes it incredibly mundane (which could actually be a beautiful analogy/allegory for our lives today). Maybe only a magic user could control it for some reason. I don’t think peasants or your normal 9-5 kinda guy would be able to master it. I think maneuvering a carpet would be even harder. Riding a horse and driving a car is a skill to some extent. All the bad ones deteriorated and the good ones are trapped under some anchoring dungeon, woven from a better time long ago. It’s something that maybe was common place but now because that empire fell (all fantasy is post apocalyptic, even if you don’t think so), these are coveted. Double Bass instrument, and during flight it must play Lavender Town theme.Giant recorder (flute/oboe/bassoon/etc.).They sit in a giant spell book that flaps its book boards like wings.So acquainted witches can transport themselves to the house that has a cauldron of a witch that they are on good terms with. Maybe all witches' cauldrons are like potential destination points.The second eye socket is great for a passenger. Witches have inherent access to a plume of black swirling magical wind/air/dust/cloud/mist that they 'sit' in and fly on. ![]()
